POINT PLEASANT BOROUGH HIGH SCHOOL
BAND BOOSTERS

BAND BOOSTERS
The Band Boosters are parents, guardians, and volunteers that support the high school bands. These bands include competition marching band, pep band, concert band, orchestra pit, jazz band, and percussion ensemble. Students require assistance and support throughout their school year both financially and physically.
The boosters provide support to the students in many ways.
Through fundraising, the students receive college scholarships, entry into Tournament of Bands competitions, props and transportation, and the spring band banquet. Money is raised through holding a car wash, candy bar sales, Boro merchandise sales at football games, clothing drives, a 50/50 raffle and the yearly craft fair held in December, which is our largest fundraising event.
It takes a large crew of volunteers to help the students get on the field at each competition and football game. The boosters organize and assist by recruiting chaperones and crew, transporting all equipment to events, moving props and instruments on and off the field, providing meals and snacks, creating and handing out candy grams, and making sure the students have what they need for a successful performance.
If you are interested in getting involved with the band boosters please come to one of our monthly meetings. Or, you can contact us at pointborobandboosters@gmail.com.
