BAND BOOSTERS

July 2023

 

Band and Color Guard members and family,

 

We have refreshments during the 3rd quarter of our football games and frequently invite the visiting team’s band to join us. It is important that we have enough snacks and drinks for our band and guests. We ask each band member to bring at least 24 drinks (not water) and 24 water bottles and 30 snacks on their assigned week. 

 

In lieu of purchasing snacks you may provide a check for $60 made out to Pt Pleasant Band Boosters. See opt out form link below.

 

SNACKS AND DRINKS MUST BE DROPPED OFF AT THE TRIANGLE ROOM BEFORE THE THURSDAY PRACTICE PRIOR TO THE FOOTBALL GAMES.

 

Beverages: AT LEAST 24 DRINKS TOTAL (not water) and a case of water (at least 24). NO GLASS BOTTLES OR SODA. Suggestions: Capri Sun, juice, sports drinks, iced tea, lemonade, Sunny D.

 

Snacks:  AT LEAST 30 SNACKS IN TOTAL. Per Mr Visco  -PLEASE  no orange colored snacks –such as Doritos, Cheetos, BBQ chips as they can ruin the uniforms. INDIVIDUALLY PACKED.

Suggestions: chips, pretzels, Rice Krispy treats, fruit snacks, cookies, baked goods, trail mix, donuts (without filling or powder) and fruit. We can use both sweet and salty snacks.

 

We need help with setting up tables (located next to the scoreboard at home games/ and location to be determined for away games), assisting with serving or replenishing as the band members make their way through the line and clean up and repack cart at the end of 3rd quarter. There is a volunteer sign up sheet to assist with snacks at the games but we are always looking for some parents to assist at the table, so please don’t hesitate to come on over on game day even if you did not previously sign up.
